Description
This is a 2A 48V DC power adapter, which is suitable for use with the Dark Storm system. A single one of these power adapters can safely power up to 8 Dark Storm preamps and 8 condenser microphones using daisy chain power cables. Included for North American buyers is an IEC power cable. An IEC cable will not be supplied to buyers outside of North America.
This power adapter works internationally, as it supports wall voltages of 100-240V AC and at both 50Hz and 60Hz. It provides enough current to safely power up to 8 Dark Storm mic preamplifiers along with the necessary current for 8 condenser microphones, when using the daisy chain system. It provides 48V DC at 2A and has a 2.5mm DC jack with a positive center pin polarity. This model adapter has been tested in multi-channel Dark Storm systems and is low-noise-certified by LBA.
