Description

The M600 transformer was designed to work as a high-performance input transformer with an old-school vibe for Pultec-style passive equalizers. It can be used in a variety of other applications where an old-school ratio of 600R:600R is desired. In practice, this ratio tends to sound more colorful than the 10k:10K ratio commonly used for the input transformer(s) in modern pieces of studio gear.

The LBA-M600 is a high performance line input 600:600 Ohms audio transformer designed for use in Pultec style EQ circuits.  It's old school design gives it a warm tone that's usually only found with vintage transformers.  Like all LBA input transformers, it has PC Pins and comes mounted in a MuMetal shielding can for rejection of RF, Electro-static, and electro-magnetic noise.  Check out the design tools below for use with KiCad.
